Sri Lanka Tour Package: Double Room or Twin Room?

JK TRAVELS SRI LANKA · HOLIDAY PLANNING

Room-sharing arrangements can change the suitability of a Sri Lanka tour package even when the route and hotel names are identical. Confirm whether you need one double bed, separate twin beds or individual rooms before the accommodation is quoted.

When exploring our Sri Lanka tour packages, send the preferred bed arrangement for each room. “Two adults” describes occupancy, but it does not identify whether those adults want to share a bed.

Specify the bed setup

A double room usually refers to a room with one double bed, while a twin arrangement provides separate beds. Hotel terminology and configurations can vary, so ask for the actual proposed setup. If separate beds are essential, make that a requirement rather than a casual preference.

Check every overnight stop

On a circuit, availability can differ between properties. A room arrangement confirmed at the first hotel does not establish the arrangement at the remaining hotels. Ask the organiser to show the bed configuration against each night.

Keep room type and occupancy separate

Room size, view, bed type and maximum occupancy are different details. An upgraded category may offer more space but still have the wrong bed arrangement. Ask about the feature that actually matters to your party.

If a hotel is substituted, recheck the room specification along with the property name. A clear accommodation brief helps JK Travels prepare a Sri Lanka tour package that works for friends, relatives and couples travelling together.
