Separate the parts of the timetable
A pickup time includes coordination at your hotel, while the safari itself begins later in the overall journey. Ticket arrangements and the return also take time. Ask which start and finish points are used when the team describes duration. This is especially important when you have a checkout, a separate driver waiting or onward transport to meet after the safari.
Choose time you can enjoy
Longer is not automatically more suitable for everyone. Consider the group’s interest, ability to sit comfortably, children’s needs and the amount of road travel around the park visit. A shorter session can suit a different itinerary from a dedicated wildlife stay. Tell the team what matters most so they can explain the arrangement being proposed without promising a particular sighting.

If you want an extended outing, ask for the exact duration, permitted break arrangements, food, water, ticket handling and total charges. None of those extras should be inferred from the session price. Check what happens if conditions change the route or timing. More hours may provide more observation time, but cannot turn an unpredictable wildlife encounter into a guarantee.

Transfers from Colombo, Negombo or outside the nearby pickup area require a separate quotation. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
