Sigiriya

Dambulla Cave

Also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, the Dambulla cave is a World heritage site that houses the largest and best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. It is adorned with intricate murals and over 150 statues of Buddha, and offers a profound glimpse into the island's rich spiritual history.

Minneriya National Park (Safari)

This safari in Minneriya National Park focuses on elephants and birds, especially during "The Gathering" in July and August, when 200-300 elephants converge. Starting from Minneriya’s entrance, the safari's route between Minneriya and Kaudulla depends on elephant movements and water sources.

The Palace of Fifty five Windows: This magnificent palace was built during the reign of King Yakshya Malla in A.D. 1427 and was subsequently remodeled by King Bhupatindra Malla in the seventeenth century. Among the brick walls with their gracious setting and sculptural design, is a balcony with Fifty five Windows, considered to be a unique masterpiece of woodcarving.
